Many current delivery partners describe these roles as self-employed. The company must confirm the actual contract status, gross route pay, tax/VAT treatment, costs and payment timing in writing.
Part-time normally means fewer full route days, not shorter shifts. Weekend needs and van rules vary by partner company.
